Sue Brings Lundsten
Sue Brings Lundsten was a decorated student-athlete in swimming while at Hamline University. After completing her playing career, Brings stayed in athletics and continued the advancement of girls swimming. Sue coached with STAR Swim Team beginning in 1981, and was named the Age Group Coach of the Year in 1997. She has put effort into coaching girls’ and women’s swimming & diving teams at area high schools and the College of Saint Catherine.

Patty Stotzheim
After graduating from Hamline University and being a gymnastics student-athlete, Patty Stotzheim gave back to the sport she loves and began her coaching career. Returning to her alma mater, Stotzheim was an assistant coach for Hamline from 1994-1995 and took over the program as head coach in 1995. During her five years at the helm of the program, she coached multiple nationally recognized individuals along with placing top four every year at Nationals including second place in 1996. Stotzheim went on to be the founder of Spirit Gymnastics Inc., an organization that strives to improve the holistic lives of young people through the sport of gymnastics. Patty has also held positions with the NCGA, the Women’s Collegiate Program Committee, and the MN USA Gymnastics Board. Helping to continue the advancement of Women’s Gymnastics and fighting for equality among athletics.
